Dr. John Erickson
“Everything I do, I believe in challenging the status quo. I believe in disrupting the ordinary, mundane and cookie-cutter approach towards healthcare. I believe in treating people and not symptoms or diagnoses. I believe in getting to the source of health problems. The way that I disrupt the ordinary and challenge the healthcare norm is by drawing out the potential for health in each patient by identifying and focusing on the core issues of health through the use of education, technology, art and common sense. Oh, and by the way, I just happen to be a Chiropractor.”
“I love being the last stop on the long highway of healthcare. I love hearing patients comment that their lives have been enhanced and changed for the good because of my services. I have invested a lot of time and resources to provide my patients with the best possible health care. Are you looking for a new doctor?”
–John Erickson, DC
Welcome to The Health and Wellness Center, where Dr. Erickson works to deliver excellent care to all patients. His base training is as a chiropractor. He is passionate about finding the exact cause of your health problem and not simply treat the many and varied symptoms. His focus is on you and your needs and not simply on your diagnosis. His care enables his patients to live a happy and productive life.
First, Dr. Erickson has a vast amount of experience to draw from. He has been in practice for over 15 years and still attends frequent seminars to develop and hone his clinical skills. Dr. Erickson has logged countless hours of continuing education in neurology, metabolic conditions, nutrition and weight loss. Dr. Erickson has personally trained with top doctors and clinicians like: Dr. Datis Kharrazian, the author of the book “Why do I still Have Thyroid Symptoms? When My Lab Test are Normal” and Dr. Michael Johnson, the author of “What do you do When the Medications Don’t Work” and Dr. Eric Berg, the author of “The Seven Principles of Fat Burning”.
Dr. Erickson graduated with his Doctor Of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA in 1997. Other post graduate studies include Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, Functional Endocrinology, Neurotransmitters and Brain, NeuroPathway Technique, Nambudribad’s, Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET), Applied Neurology with Laser, NIMMO Receptor Tonus Technique, Brain Based Therapy, as well as multiple seminars on Nutrition, Thyroid, Male and Female Hormone Disorders, Stubborn (Hormonal) Weight and Clinical Research.
Second, Dr. Erickson is an educator. He firmly believes that in order for people to make the right decisions, they need to have all of the data. His workshops are designed, first and foremost, to educate and uplift those who attend. If you ask him why most people haven’t fixed their current health problem it is due to two things: a) They don’t have all of the information that they need to fix the problem and b) They haven’t met the right person. He supplies the, much-needed, information through his many workshops, websites, consultations and writings. He also believes that he is the “right person” for many people.

Message from Dr. Erickson:
About Your Body, Self-Image and Your Health
People are unsure and uncomfortable in their bodies.
As people age, they become unsure and uncomfortable in their bodies. They lose the level of performance and function that they used to have. They are less confident in their body. They gradually let their belief in “self” slip. This leads to them becoming less diligent in taking care of the body: slacking up on exercise or stopping it altogether, choosing more sedentary over active activities, and easier over more challenging pursuits. There becomes less to live for…less to fight for.
I want to help you believe in yourself again!
My care can empower your movement to get you to, once again, believe that you can make a difference in your life. And by making a difference in your life, you can impact others lives favorably.
